This earlier pod format is no longer available.

Our current DemiBu Botanical Foot Soak uses individually portioned dry sachets rather than pods. It is a different product and formula; see the current product page for the exact contents and directions.

We are keeping the original recommendation and product details below for readers who arrive from an earlier guide or search result.

Selected and tested by Moxmoon

This is a product we almost didn't carry.

Moxmoon's first rule has always been the least-processed, most visible plants. Pre-brewed pods break that rule. We listed them anyway — because of someone we kept picturing, getting home at ten at night, too tired to wait for herbs to steep. Here is the whole story, told honestly.

Herbal foot soak pods, 12 pre-brewed botanical concentrates in one jar

One jar, twelve ready-made evenings

Each pod holds 8 g of pre-brewed herbal concentrate, sealed in a clear water-soluble film. Twelve pods in one jar.

The brewing has already been done for you — seven botanicals, simmered and concentrated before the pod was ever made. What you hold is the finished step, not the starting one.

No time to steep, pre-brewed foot soak pods are the honest shortcut beside whole-herb packs

10 p.m. Too tired to wait.

We keep picturing the person this jar is for. Young, working far from home, days that run too fast. They come through the door at ten at night, feet aching, mind still buzzing. They do not have fifteen minutes to watch herbs steep — they need the day to start ending now.

And we keep picturing the other person too — the one with an unhurried evening, who genuinely loves watching whole leaves slowly unfurl in the water. That quiet is its own kind of wealth.

Nothing is absolute, and life is not one shape. Both of these people are right. So instead of refusing the category, we did the harder thing: sifted through more than a hundred products like this one, and chose the single jar we could stand behind.

A 7-herb traditional blend pre-brewed and concentrated: mugwort leaf, Sichuan pepper, spatholobus stem, mulberry twig, pubescent angelica, Sichuan lovage, aged ginger

One jar out of a hundred

What won: a traditional seven-herb combination — mugwort leaf, Sichuan pepper, spatholobus stem, mulberry twig, pubescent angelica, Sichuan lovage, aged ginger — pre-brewed and concentrated, from a producer we have visited in person in Nanyang, China's mugwort heartland.

What it honestly costs you: because the herbs are brewed in advance, you cannot see them inside the pod. That is why every ingredient is printed here — and why anyone who wants to see their herbs should choose our whole-herb packs instead.

Drop one pod into hot water, the water-soluble film dissolves itself

Do not unwrap it — the film is the packaging

The clear skin around each pod is a water-soluble film. It is meant to dissolve.

Drop the whole pod into hot water, film and all. Within about a minute the film melts away and the concentrate disperses into the basin. Nothing to open, nothing to throw away, nothing left floating when you are done.

The same amber foot soak, ready with zero waiting

Home at ten. Soaking by five past.

Drop one pod in the basin while the water runs. By the time you have changed out of your work clothes, the water has turned the same warm amber as a slowly steeped whole-herb soak.

The day starts ending the moment you sit down — not twenty minutes later. On the nights that matter most, that difference is the whole point.

One pod per basin, soak 20 to 30 minutes at about 40 degrees Celsius with water above the ankle; prefer whole herbs, try Moxmoon foot soak herbs

How to use it

Fill your basin with hot water. Drop in one pod. Wait about a minute while it dissolves, adjust to a comfortable 37–42°C (98–108°F), and soak your feet for 20–30 minutes, water above the ankles.

And on a slow weekend, when you would rather watch whole leaves open in the water, our whole-herb Foot Soak packs are one click away. Both are Moxmoon selections. Both are honest about what they are.

Two forms, two honest scorecards

The Whole-Herb Pack

For slow evenings

  • You can see every leaf, ginger slice, and peppercorn — nothing hidden.
  • The least processed form we could find.
  • Watching whole leaves unfurl in the water is part of the ritual.
  • The trade-off: it asks for 3–5 minutes of steeping, and a pack to lift out afterward.

These Pods

For 10 p.m. evenings

  • Ready in about a minute — no steeping, no residue, nothing to clean.
  • A seven-herb traditional blend, pre-brewed for you.
  • One pod per basin, pre-measured — nothing to think about.
  • The trade-off: more processing before it reached you, and you cannot see the herbs inside.

Life comes in more than one rhythm, and neither of these is the "right" choice — they are simply yours. We respect every version of your evening, and for each of you, we keep selecting with the same honesty.

12 pods of 8 grams each, twelve evenings of herbal foot soaks

One jar, twelve evenings

12 pods × 8 g. At a rhythm of 2–3 evenings per week, one jar carries you through about a month.

Keep the jar sealed, cool, and dry — the film is designed to dissolve in water, and humid air is water too.

One jar with 12 foot soak pods, simple packaging, no gift box, no waste

What you will receive

One jar. Twelve pods inside. That is all.

No gift box, no ribbon, no money spent on packaging you will throw away. Packaging has one job — getting the pods to you intact and dry. One caution worth printing in bold: the pods can look like candy. Store them well out of the reach of children and pets.

Moxmoon selected herbal foot soak pods, we do not make nature, we carefully select it

We almost said no to this whole category

Then we remembered who stays out late — and that life is not one thing. Moxmoon does not manufacture these pods. We visited the producer, bought and used what we now sell, screened more than a hundred candidates down to this one jar — and listed it with the whole story told, including the part where whole herbs are the less processed choice.

If anything is unclear — about the pods, the herbs, or how to build your own evening ritual — write to us. We are glad to share what we know.

We do not make nature. We carefully curate it.

How to use

  1. Fill your foot basin with hot water.
  2. Drop in one pod — do not unwrap it.
  3. Wait about 1 minute for the film to dissolve, then adjust to a comfortable 37–42°C (98–108°F).
  4. Soak your feet for 20–30 minutes, water above the ankles.
  5. Dry your feet well. Nothing to clean up.

Safety and care

  • For external foot soaking only. Never ingest. Keep out of reach of children and pets — the pods can look like candy.
  • 2–3 evenings per week is a comfortable rhythm; daily use is not necessary.
  • Do not use if you are allergic to any of the listed botanicals.
  • Avoid use on broken, wounded, or irritated skin.
  • If you are pregnant, or managing a health condition, consult a professional before use.
  • Store sealed, cool, and dry — the film dissolves on contact with water or humid air.
  • This is a daily lifestyle product, not a medicine. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
